AAPL was established nearly half a century back by Mr. SKD, a graduate engineer, which was pioneer in the field at that time. Company product range such as ALUMILITE NORTHLIGHT glazing with wired glass for factories, INSULOK false ceiling for Textile Mills and Entrance Doors for Shops and Offices were in large demands. Since then “ALUMILITE” products have been well appreciated for their design and superior quality.

By 1980, ALUMILITE products like doors, windows and partitions were being specified and installed all over India for many Government, Semi-Government and Industrial buildings. With most modern in-house anodizing facility, ALUMILITE always had an edge over others and always delivered better finished products in time.

From 1980 onwards, the architectural concept in India was changing very fast. The architects wanted light, low maintenance, elegant products to suit the design esthetics and also user friendly. The aluminum architectural industry also had to undergo drastic changes and accept this new concept, and follow more advanced technology and design. They also had an exposure to new machinery and new system. Alumilite was one of the first to bring new changes and new ideas in line with the innovative ideas of architects.

Presently, Alumilite Architectural P.Ltd has a state of the art technology. Fabrication facility admeasuring more than 35000 sqft with the latest imported equipments like Double head cutting machines for cutting, various types of copy milling machines for slotting, crimping machines for corner joints and other many pneumatic machines to give faster and better production. Many of the accessories are being imported to meet high standard product demanded by many Corporate Clients.

Recent addition to the plant and machinery in factory is a 2 station one of the longest Machining Centre, a fully automatic CNC machine to fabricate the profiles to 0.03mm accuracy.

Alumilite Architectural P. Ltd employees more than 300 workers for fabrication and installation. It has qualified & experienced Engineers to supervise the site installation and fabrication. All the drawings, designs, calculations are carried out at state of the art CAD centre. To avoid damages in transit, loading/unloading, it has its own fleet of trucks with necessary provisions to transport the profiles, finished materials and glass without damage.

We at Alumilite are continuously upgrading its products as per the International designs and as per Indian demands. It has introduced recently its latest series Super Tec 42, Super Tec 52 and Super Slide 62 windows & Super Slide 72 doors and is being used in various prestigious projects all over the country.

From year 1990 onwards the Indian Architect has undergone concept change for the exterior of the buildings. They designed the building enveloped in glass and aluminum cladding. Aluminum industry adopted the glass envelop concept of curtain wall structural glazing and ACP cladding. We had come out with many prestigious projects of such building facades. We have put up complete set of facility and equipment to design, fabricate and install these items.

With the increased use of glass in the Building Industry, it had become very necessary to use better thermal insulation to reduce the load on air conditioning plant and to save precious energy. It has also become important to reduce the noise pollution level while working in the offices or while resting in the Hotels. To achieve this, insulated double glass is used all over the World and increasingly used in India also. ALUMILITE has imported the entire semi automatic equipment to produce in house insulating glass units.

Now, to keep in tune with times ahead, company has decided to go for ISO 9001 2008 Quality Management System, to enhance its focus on Total Customer Satisfaction.
